I wanted to write a children's book about recycling, and I was remembering how much I disliked hauling out the trash when I was younger. That made me wonder what would happen if the kid balked and the trash took matters into its own hands.
The Garbage Monster is out of print (sorry!), but you may find a used copy on Amazon or e-Bay, and you're welcome to still download the book's Free Parents' & Teachers' Guide.
